Legal consultants tend to focus more on strategic advice and guidance. Consultants may help with compliance, risk management, contract review, or designing policies but often stop short of representing clients in legal disputes or running large-scale transactions.
Crucially, as a legal consultancy, KITE.LEGAL is not a firm of solicitors and not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). This means that we are unable to provide any reserved legal activities.
The six reserved legal activities are:
The exercise of a right of audience: Speaking for a client in court or tribunal.
The conduct of litigation: Issuing proceedings, commencing, prosecuting, and defending court actions, and performing related functions.
Reserved instrument activities: Activities related to the transfer of land or other specific instruments, such as preparing certain documents for land transactions.
Probate activities: Activities related to applying for grants of probate or letters of administration.
Notarial activities: Activities performed by a notary public.
The administration of oaths: Administering oaths and statutory declarations.

Laura is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales. Whilst we have considerable experience working in deals across the US and Europe, local advice may need to be sought on certain matters. We can discuss this with you and will be very open where we think you would be served better by a legal advisor in a different jurisdiction.
